Unless something changes between now and then, beginning Sunday, April 2 at 2:00 AM, the Four Rivers area will be split into two different time zones. The U.S. Department of Transportation has put Daviess, Martin, and Knox counties into the Central Time Zone, and all of Indiana will begin observing Daylight Savings Time on that day. This means that, beginning that day, all year round, Sullivan, Monroe, and Greene Counties will be one hour ahead of Daviess, Martin, and Knox. When it is Noon in Bloomington, Bloomfield, Lyons, Linton, Sullivan, and Indianapolis, it will be 11 AM in Vincennes, Washington, Plainville, Loogootee, and Evansville. |
